Can I try CheckUpstream for free?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 2 projects and 5 services with no credit card required. All 32 ecosystems are supported on every plan.

How does billing work?

Plans are billed monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

You receive a notification as you near your limits. You can upgrade at any time or remove unused projects.

Do you offer annual pricing?

Not yet. Annual plans with a discount are on the roadmap. Join the waitlist in your settings.

Which ecosystems are supported?

All 32: npm, PyPI, Go, Cargo, Maven, RubyGems, NuGet, Composer, Pub, Hex, Swift, Deno, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Helm, Conan, CRAN, Hackage, Julia, Conda, and more. All ecosystems are available on every plan.

Which alert channels can I use?

Free plans include email, Slack, and Discord. Pro plans unlock all 12 channels including PagerDuty, Teams, OpsGenie, Google Chat, Telegram, SMS, custom webhooks, Rootly, and incident.io.

What Git platforms do you support?

GitHub and GitLab are fully supported with OAuth. Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and Gitea support is available via webhooks for PR-level dependency diffs.

How do the SDKs work?

Our lightweight SDKs (TypeScript, Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, Rust, Java, .NET) track upstream API latency and error rates from your production traffic. Drop-in middleware for Express, Fastify, Hono, NestJS, Next.js, Nuxt, and SvelteKit.
